Corey began his career in the various fields of marketing ranging from advertising to marketing research since 1980s with companies such as Frank Small & Associates (currently TNS), Honda R&D Co. and The Gallup Organization covering the Asia Pacific region. He went on to pursue his Masters in International Marketing from University of Strathclyde and returned to Singapore to start the Consumer and Marketing Insight Department for Symrise in Asia in late 1990s. He has ever since been with the company for 18 years and currently leads a team of professionals specializing in Traditional Consumer Research, Consumer Neuroscience and Data Analytics covering the Asia Pacific Region. During the last 3 years, the Consumer and Marketing Insights team in Symrise Asia led by Corey embarked on an ambitious journey to develop Neuroscience capabilities incorporating the latest technology to be applied in the area of Consumer Research specifically focused in the area of Scent and Care products. This strategy is also in partnership with various higher learning institutions and the Economic Development Board of Singapore.
